At the time of writing I am resting up after a hectic weekend at Herne Bay Cartoon Festival – a wonderful celebration of art and humour that deserves, and will get, it’s own post later this week.

For now, here is the usual monthly compilation of some of my favourite cartoons from the past month. Featuring the usual suspects, plus the unusual and welcome addition of a cartoon on England’s Cricket World Cup win (something you don’t see every day!).

The pictures were drawn for private clients, publications and there’s even one from the Herne Bay exhibition itself. A change in Prime Minister hasn’t led to any change in the number of Brexit cartoons being requested; But, if you fancy a change of topic, do take a look at the cartoons for new client Shopper Intelligence.

Shopper Intelligence work in the world of consumer data – helping producers and retailers understand shoppers’ needs better – and such a world can be very complex and sometimes even confusing. A single panel cartoon can convey a message clearly and simplify a situation into an accessible and memorable takeaway.

Perhaps your business could reach out to people this way? If you’d like to know more about using cartoons in your marketing, please do not hesitate to contact me. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the cartoons. Until next time –

Best wishes,

James.
