The World Cup is concluded.  Congratulations to France.  Interestingly, following Agincourt in 1415, the 1420 Treaty of Troyes ceded control of France to the successors of Henry V so technically England won and football did, in fact, come home.  Perhaps.

The competition has provided great entertainment, England with a timely morale boost whilst home news has been depressing, and plentiful source material for cartoons (it was held in Russia after all…).  I’ve enjoyed cartooning the on-field and off-the-pitch stories so thought I would collect all the pictures together into a single gallery.

I hope you enjoy the cartoons.

James.
